Cucumber, Suyo Long
An heirloom variety originally from China. A vigorous plant, and a good climber. The cukes grow up to 18” and are excellent eating at any size. Our family did a blind taste test and were equally split on preferring Suyo Long against Long English. This is a great cuke and easier to grow than the standard English cuke.
Start indoors mid-May. After three weeks, transplant outside in warm weather. Cukes like good fertility, water, and heat to flourish. 20-25 seeds/packet
