Ila, Sal, Miko, Bryn, Nisha, and Blue, the farm dog. Sal is the chief grunt on the farm, and the Seed company is mostly his baby. He has been farming for many years, and selling seeds since 2010. Ila is the brains around all things animal on the farm. She started with raising goats and sheep 15 years ago before settling on sheep. Ila also enjoys riding horses, and since a productive farm requires constant fertility, getting a horse dovetails nicely with what we do. A second horse is boarded with us and helps pay for hay.

Miko, Bryn, and Nisha are typical “farm kids” in that they have grown up doing farm chores and now, as teenagers, work in some capacity each summer as a paid job. They float between loving it and hating-farmlife-why-can’t-we-live-in-a-city… In other words, they are typical teenagers.
