Cannabis, Island Star
Grown in the Gulf Islands for at least 40 years, this strain is well adapted for outdoor coastal growing conditions. If started inside and transplanted out in early spring, it can grow to 8’ in fertile soil yet finishes in late August/early September before fall dews get in the buds. The plants have a little variation, with some sporting purple hairs but most are as shown in the photo. Compared to modern strains it won’t knock you on your butt, yet Island Star gives a euphoric, energetic high, and also relieves stress and anxiety. Our best guess is a 60-40 Sativa/Indica ratio, but it hasn’t been tested. Seeds are not feminized, so plan to rogue out the males, or enjoy the seeds. 5 seeds/packet.
