The Newburg onion is a very heavy yielding storage onion developed by Dr. Alan Kapuler. Averages about 1/2 pound, but can reach almost a pound in good soil. Will store for months as well in good storage conditions. Easy to grow. Start early Spring inside in flats or plugs and transplant outside into fertile, well-amended soil.  Keep moist, then let dry down naturally in August.  Store cool and dry.
