We have had several requests to package our Mustards together into a mix, so here it is! The sweet, mild flavour of Mizuna pairs well with the sharp, spicy punch of the Giant Red. They can be added to a lettuce (or any) salad when the leaves are small, and when the leaves are 6” and bigger, they go well in stir frys. Giant Red loses much of its push when cooked, but still retains its pleasant mustard flavour. Start indoors in early Spring and transplant out, or direct seed mid-Spring into the garden 1/4” deep. Mustards are easy to grow and not usually bothered by pests. Will often overwinter on the West Coast.
